Welcome to the 3 Harbours Arts Festival

Our festival is indeed blessed by its setting, the three harbours of Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton. The wonderful coastline of East Lothian that inspired John Muir. Historically, this rich coastline was a place where much industry took place - fishing, boat building, potteries, mining and salt making to name but a few. It was a hive of activity, enterprise and creativity. It is therefore not surprising that we see in the area the legacy of the past continuing in a flourishing of the arts and the 3 Harbours Arts Festival celebrates this each year. This year we continue to grow and our paintings, sculpture, literature and history walks are a testament to the hard work and creativity of people from all over the area with all levels of skills.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TOOK PART THIS YEAR.

Over 2000 people took part from making Paperboats to the many projects listed below. But a special thanks to the Box Office Volunteers of Mags Conn, Alex Park, Lucy Hyde, June Coull, Marion Hunter, Pat Fox, Margaret Hamilton and Margaret McDonald.
